Founded in 1991, The Network of East-West Women (NEWW) strengthens the capacity of women activists and women's NGOs in Central and Eastern Europe, the Newly Independent States and the Russian Federation (CEE/NIS) to raise awareness of gender issues and influence public policy affecting women's lives.
