The IIAV focuses on three core areas of activity: heritage, empowerment, and academic research & education. Activities in these areas overlap and mutually reinforce each other. What does the IIAV aim to achieve in the area of EDUCATION?

Secondary schools in the Netherlands increasingly make use of information of heritage institutions. Students and teachers need concrete courses with which they can work. The IIAV has excellent sources for this target group. The IIAV wants to ensure that the heritage of the women’s movement is broadly disseminated in secondary schools and used more intensively by students. In this vein, the IIAV prefers to collaborate with other parties specializing in education in the Netherlands. Curriculum material for secondary education has been and will be developed. These services are only available in Dutch.
